How it works

The list holds 32 TV shows. Every pick uses a cryptographically secure random number generator — your browser's, which the operating system keeps seeded with physical noise from your device's hardware — so there are no patterns and no favourites.

It works like a shuffled deck: you won't see the same TV show twice until you've seen them all in this visit. To keep pages tiny, the list is split into small, randomly mixed batches that load only as you need them.

Without JavaScript the button still works: our edge servers make the pick instead, using Cloudflare's secure random number generator, whose entropy famously includes LavaRand — a wall of lava lamps.
